A is for..........

Do you think I have enough apples to make an apple pie?  My guess is yes.  There is another question that needs to be answered though.  How do I showcase these fall beauties while they wait to be eaten.
There is the always elegant simple white bowl.

The very old fashioned Grandma's bowl.

The grab an apple from the basket by the gate (bowl).

Glamor them up  in some  BLING bowl.

Well, there seemed to be more than plenty of apples to make my pie and the best place to showcase them was baked right inside .

  4. Can you please send some of those beautiful apples to me in Scotland?? I'm making lots of bumpy caramelised apple pies for my market on Saturday and they would be delicious in them. Your photographs are fantastic. Ann x

  5. Although I would have grabbed for the grandma's bowl I think they look the best in the white bowl. I think I would prefer the pie the most though with a scoop of ice cream please! Thank you for coming by and for your suggestions. I will keep the idea of folding the quilt down so you can see both colors and see how that looks. I do have about 4 different greens in the room. I have an cabinet that my computer sits in that I bought new in a shade of green quite a few years ago. The walls are green and the furniture is all seconds that I painted another shade of green. I am liking the green with just the lavender accents.

  6. My family and I just went this weekend and picked 60lbs of apples. I have been making apple butter for a couple of days now. Delish...My daughter made a pie, I made baked apples, put some apples in the freezer and still have a ton more to work with.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Will happily follow you.

  11. Hi

Thank you for visiting my blog & that lovely comment. I am your newest follower. I love these apples & the pictures. I shall look around your blog in more detail soon :) Oh by the way, the pumpkins are just very small dried pumpkins that I bought from e-bay. I can't take any credit for them.
