This was such a delicious supper for a warm, breezy night. I fried up about a pound of squid rings and served them with peperoncini and lemon. The cold glass of chardonnay I sipped on brighten and lighten the flavor. Here's the recipe.
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 of a can of beer
- salt and pepper
- vegetable oil
We thoroughly enjoyed this easy Sunday night meal. Eating out on our deck really helped too. It was a pleasant way to say good bye to the weekend.
Oh, Yum!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've only had calamari a few times {as we are completely land-locked} and never did any calamari look as delicious as yours!!
Have a happy week.

Yum!! Perfect summer meal:) xxL
ReplyDeleteOh boy! What a treat! I love calamari almost as much as I love super spicy popcorn shrimp !!! Did you have to cut of the calamari or was it prepped by the fishmonger ? I never see it around ...
ReplyDeleteI cut it into rings and they were already cleaned when I bought them. So easy with a sharp knife.
DeleteHow nice to read your post. It sound like a wonderful summer time dish. Are you out of school yet? You also take such good pictures.
ReplyDeletePerfection!
