Good nose Bella. Yes, you do smell something. You smell the aroma of biscuits wafting from the kitchen. I made you a batch of Christmas treats.. Now stop your drooling , sit like a pretty girl and I'll give you one.
Bella did have one and loved it.. Earlier she sat on the rug by the backdoor and waited for them to cool down enough to test one. I know she enjoyed it because when I gave her the second treat she flew into the living room to wolf it down on my good rug.
I toyed around with the portions from the original recipe and they came out better than I expected. Here's the recipe.
Pumpkin Peanut Butter Treats
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 5 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup oats
Come Bella, I'll give you just one more.
I had a dog biscuit company for years. I can't tell you how many biscuits I made. These look very tasty. Lucky Bella.
ReplyDeleteLucky Bella, they look good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm into eating doggy treats I might add.
What is it about dogs eating their treats on the rugs?
My dog Muffin will wonder around the house holding her treat in her mouth, trying to decide the best location option. She's so indecisive when it comes to her table requirements.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend ;D
Lucky Girl Bella ... they look delish!

ReplyDeleteThose sound yummy and I will pass it on to my daughter. She makes dog cookies every year and passes them out to the neighbors dogs she meets everyday on her walk with baby and dog.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for Bella! My Masala got a bone shaped cranberry oatmeal cookie the other day, but nothing so special as these. I'm writing this recipe down and will be sure to share the treats with the "neighbors." I actually do have a boneshaped cookie cutter. Thank you for sharing.
