Belleau Kitchen's Chicken
The weather was gorgeous yesterday. I had all my doors and windows opened wide and a cool breeze was blowing throughout the house. It was one of those summer days when you can actually use the oven and not heat up the entire house..
Dom at Belleau Kitchen, Chicken Risotto dish was delicious. The dish is simple to assemble and the ingredients readily available at the market. Chicken thigh, chicken drumsticks, onions, carrots, mushrooms, peas, wine and vegetable stock.
It smelled so good while it was baking, I was asked several times if supper was almost ready.
Click on Dom's name (above) for the recipe to this tasty dish. You will be very pleased you did. Thank you Dom we loved it!

Very nice looking dish. I bet it was good. I am so happy you are having nice pleasant days.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to hear the sound of chicken feet in the grass too, it is the nicest sound.
I hope your week stays really nice.
Looks yummy !
ReplyDeleteIt has been cool here as well, the mornings have been fall like cool and fresh my windows are open day and night now its wonderful ! Have a great day !
MMMMM-this does look delish! I love one dish meals. One question--I don't "do" wine (LOL) and was wondering what type of wine you used?
ReplyDeleteYum, that looks really delicious! I love anything with chicken in it and tend to make most of our meals with that instead of red meat. Add in vegies, and it is a winner (in my book anyway, I guess the kids think differently). I am always looking for new dishes to make so know for sure that I will be giving this one a try soon. thanks for sharing. ~Debby
ReplyDeleteLooks so yummy! Love the vibrant green of the peas. Looks like a good early autumn dish. We are looking forward to some cooler days when we can start using the oven more. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteEverything is a go on this one. Yum-0. But, I just might have to skip the peas for Mr. Scoots. His mother made him sit till midnight as a kid till the last "Canned" one was off his plate. He can find one now in a can of soup and push it away. Me, I adore them. Thanks for another great idea and recipe.

Yesterday was one of the prettiest days I can remember. I must have taken my dogs out for 4 or 5 walks! This dish does look great, and the idea of a baked risotto sounds right up my alley. I'd rather be outside in weather like this than over the stove.
ReplyDeletewow... it looks even better than when I make it!... how fabulous and what a wonderful tribute... I feel truly humbled that my chicken dish has made it across the 'pond'... it's a very successful dish this one and its because it is so damn good!... enjoy the sunshine!... much love x
ReplyDeleteLucky you with some decent weather!!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY have to try this dish soon - I reckon it will be very handy as an "after school" dinner - all in one dish, tasty and good looking!

That does look yummy! Though it's too hot for meat, in my opinion. ;)
