Baking bread is one of my simple pleasures. I dance with delight every time I take a fresh loaf out of the oven; it is such a magical transformation of so few ingredients and the smell is a bonus!

ReplyDeleteI like nothing more than to have my morning cup of coffee, a roaring blaze in the woodstove (or a seat on the back porch in warm weather), and a chapter (undisturbed) of my current book ... it sets me up for the day. So simple ...
ReplyDeleteI have babies on my mind -- just got a new niece I'm dying to see and hold. I love bathing a baby, and powdering and lotioning and dressing him/her in soft, cozy clothes and then having a slow, sweet cuddle.

ReplyDeleteThat's a tough one .. there are so many things on the daily basis that I receive pleasure from. Perhaps it's just the little things throughout the day;) beginning with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, shopping for flowers, and cooking a delicious dinner for my family. xxleslie
